About:

Babura is a local government of Jigawa State, Nigeria Located in the Northern region of the state. It shares border with Baure Local government of Katsina state from North, Kazaure from west Sule Tankarkar from east and Danbatta local government of Kano state from South.

College of Nursing Sciences Babura is a state owned institution established in March, 2022 by His Excellency Alh. Baradu Muhammad Abubakar (MNI) as an accredited Nursing institution, with an initial intake of 75 students from various regions of the state as well as other States of the Nation.

The two programs are Basic Nursing and Basic Midwifery which runs for three academic Sessions with diverse Clinical training and one-year mandatory community service as a prerequisite for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Since 2022, we have become masters of our professionalism. Our commitment to quality education, exceptional services and incomparable clinical training to keep our profession forward again and again. We never stop improving, and are continuing to expand our offerings based on how we can best serve the Nation. In this admission section we inform prospective applicants about the process of enrollment to Basic Program, In our College we admit female applicants only in to Basic Midwifery Program.
